What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

1) Should be alert, intelligent, and neat. 2) High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate 3) Must be able to pass a criminal background check 4) Must have valid PA driver's license and clean motor vehicle record. 5) Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. 6) Must have maximum flexibility with work schedule and be able to be on-call. 7) Must report to office as needed to get spare keys for filling in at accounts. Keys must be signed out and then returned nightly. 8) Fill in for current service partners in accounts for various reasons.Our essential team members enjoy:

- Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools and procedures, including floor scrubber.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom cleaning, spot cleaning windows and glass, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Ordering of supplies and equipment for your work site.
