Description:

Responsible for operating specialized cleaning equipment to remove paint, grime, old adhesives, rust, and other imperfections from the surface so that it can be coated. Must understand Richter's work order and quality system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepares surfaces by chemically rinsing before coating.
• Properly cleans material in accordance with Richter quality standards.
• Monitors and periodically changes cleaning solution.
• Performs periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoots problems detected.

-Assists with other projects, as needed, performs other duties as assigned.

• Basic written and communication skills

• High school diploma or

GED Physical Demands:

The physical demands described below must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
• Will be required to talk, hear, and see. Vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to differentiate between colors.
• Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand 6-10 hours a day

Work Environment:

• This position is in a manufacturing setting.
• Indoor work which may not be temperature controlled.
• Exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
