Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role involves performing custodial duties, including industrial cleaning, floor care, and general maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping and mopping to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Execute industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition. Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as required for maintenance activities. Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to ensure safety. Skills Proven experience in custodial services or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is essential. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
