What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Candidates should be able to follow prescribed cleaning plans, climb ladders, and work independently in a school environment. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to snow removal, lifting objects (50 lbs.) and operating machinery. Applicants should be able to obtain clearances, submit to a drug test, and work various shifts. Compensation is $17.00/hour .
