A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Peterson's Property Maintenance has janitorial cleaning positions that are available full-time nights Monday - Friday 5pm-midnight (possibly slightly later), with an on call rotational weekend schedule rotational schedule which consist of either a Saturday or a Sunday once every 3-4 weeks. Paid vacation, sick and holidays after introductory period. Starting pay $15.00 per hour.

MUST HAVE VALID PA DRIVER'S LICENSE AND BE ABLE TO PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS

Duties:

Janitorial cleaning Dust Sweep, mop and vacuum Clean and sanitize restrooms Wipe surface areas Empty trash cans Detail Clean Restock supplies and cleaning materials Assist in training of new staff members Must have valid driver's licenses Company vehicle provided during working shift Must be reliable and dependable Must have good communication skills, customer service oriented Attention to detail Must be able to work an on - call rotational weekend schedule which is one Saturday or one Sunday once a month. Ability to comply with company policies and procedures Peterson's Property Maintenance has been locally owned and operated for over 20 years. Providing high quality Janitorial Cleaning services for residential and commercial customers.
