Job Overview We are seeking dedicated General Custodians / Custodial Workers to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the highest standards of sanitation and facility upkeep for our students, staff, and teachers.

Duties :

General Cleaning:

sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using commercial floor buffers or auto-scrubbers.

Sanitation:

empty trash receptacles, clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch surface areas.

Facility Upkeep:

wash windows, dust surfaces, clean entryways, and replace disposable supplies such as soap and paper towels.

Event and Seasonal Support:

assist with event set up / breakdown and seasonal tasks such as light snow removal around entrances.

Safety and Compliance:

responsibly handle chemical cleaning agents following standard safety guidelines (training provided).

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but training is also provided.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand/walk for extended shifts, perform repetitive tasks, bending and lifting, and occasionally lifting up to 40-50 pounds.
