Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors using floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing techniques to maintain a polished appearance. Handle cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping surfaces across different areas. Operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers efficiently and safely. Mix and apply floor cleaning chemicals and agents responsibly, following safety protocols for chemical handling. Conduct heavy lifting tasks involving moving furniture or equipment as needed for deep cleans or maintenance. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas in accordance with health standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing floors. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly while adhering to environmental safety standards. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and chemical sprayers. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures accurately.
