Part-Time Evening Cleaner Bluebird Atelier | Lewisburg, PA Monday-Friday, 7:00-9:00 p.m. | 10 hours per week Bluebird Atelier is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented cleaning person to help keep our preschool clean, sanitary, and welcoming. This position is essential to maintaining a healthy environment for our children and staff.

Daily responsibilities include:

Thoroughly cleaning multiple bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, faucets, and surrounding surfaces. Vacuuming and mopping floors throughout the building. Emptying all trash cans and taking trash to the designated disposal area. Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen surfaces, counters, and sinks. Cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces in multiple classrooms, including tables, door handles, shelves, and play areas. Restocking bathroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Following cleaning checklists, product instructions, and school sanitation procedures. Reporting maintenance concerns and supplies that need replenishing. Completing a thorough training program in our cleaning methods, expectations, and protocols We are looking for someone who: Is reliable and available for the full Monday-Friday evening schedule. Is receptive to feedback and implements feedback reliably Works independently, manages time well, and pays close attention to detail. Takes pride in thorough, consistent cleaning. Can perform routine physical cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, vacuuming, mopping, and carrying trash. Has prior cleaning experience preferred, especially in a school, childcare, or commercial setting.

Background checks and clearances:

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing the same background checks and clearances required of childcare professionals, even though this is an evening cleaning position. All tools and supplies provided. Training program and reciprocal feedback are part of the position.
