We're currently looking for a Sanitation Worker to start immediately at our bakery in McKees Rocks. If you like to clean and have good attention to detail, this could be the job for you! Full time, Monday through Saturday schedule, some OT required. Base schedule is 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Saturday hours can vary based on production. Sanitation worker's primary responsibility is keeping the facility and production equipment clean and sanitized.

The Duties and Responsibilities Are:

Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of production machinery to ensure equipment is clean and ready for production. Removal of all trash from the building, including removing all food debris from production area. Cleaning floors using scrapers, brooms, floor cleaners, and general mopping. Responsible for accurately filling out required paper work. Follow daily cleaning & sanitizing schedule, ensuring all items are cleaned on required frequency. Follow standard operating procedures and wear required PPE. (training provided) Specific projects as assigned by the manager. Good team working skills as well as the aptitude to work alone.

Requirements:

Experience in food industry sanitation preferred but not required Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (loud, hot, etc.) Must have some sanitation or janitorial experience & ability to be detailed in cleaning equipment. Ability to follow instructions & SOP's precisely. Work requires standing, walking, repetitive bending, and lifting up to 50lbs. All applicants for this position must be at least 18 years of age.
