FUTURE OPENINGS
:
PART TIME ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE ATTENDANT AT A PRIMIER HOSPITAL IN PHILADEPHIA!
This position is being opened for future anticipated openings. The Environmental Services Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining hospital standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and aesthetic appearance. This position involves performing a variety of housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Schedule:
Alternating 16hrs & 24hrs per week schedule. Saturdays and Sundays, plus one 8-hour weekday shift every other week (weekday determined during first week of training)

AM Training:

Key Responsibilities:
Arrive prepared and in proper uniform; verify assignments with supervisor Maintain assigned areas to required cleanliness standards following infection control protocols Clean soft floor surfaces using dry and wet methods; vacuum and spot clean as needed Replenish supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.) Damp dust/disinfect environmental surfaces, fixtures, and fittings Clean unit-based equipment (monitors, TVs, beds, cribs, etc.) Remove and dispose of waste and linen according to protocols Strip and prepare sleep surfaces with clean linens Follow notification protocols for discharges and cleaning requests Operate manual and electrical cleaning equipment safely Use hospital-approved cleaning agents per protocol Report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions to supervisor Move and return furniture for cleaning purposes Complete assigned work and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored properly Perform other duties as assigned

Education:
High School Diploma or GED Skills & Qualifications:
