Monroeville Mall Food Court Cleaner - Job Description A mall food court cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment in the food court area of a shopping mall or similar public venue. This role is essential for ensuring customer comfort, safety, and satisfaction. Weekends mandatory, shift - full-time Key Responsibilities Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors; dust and sanitize tables, chairs, food counters, and other surfaces. Empty trash bins, dispose of waste, and follow recycling protocols. Clean and sanitize public restrooms regularly, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues. Promptly clean up spills, messes, or accidents to maintain safety and hygiene. Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums. Provide a positive, professional presence for patrons and staff. Required Skills and Qualifications Prior experience in commercial cleaning , preferably in a food service environment . Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment with attention to detail, Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for food service areas. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards. Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other staff. Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude .
