What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

In this position you will Teach people with disabilities how to perform janitorial and maintenance tasks. Help them develop workplace and job-readiness skills so they can eventually work independently in community jobs. Travel with individuals in company vehicles to different job sites. Demonstrate and supervise cleaning duties. Make sure contracted customers are satisfied with the work. Work primarily Monday-Friday, usually around 2-10 PM , with some variation. Work up to 30 hours per week . Receive benefits such as paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and a 401(k).

Requirements You would need:

A valid Pennsylvania driver's license. A high school diploma or GED. A clean driving record. PA criminal background clearance, including an FBI background check.
