Senior Center Cleaner Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM

PM Hours:
7 hours per day

$20.00
•22.00 per hour We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Day Porter / Senior Center Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a busy senior center. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable interacting professionally and respectfully with seniors, staff, and visitors. Job Responsibilities Perform general cleaning and sanitizing throughout the facility Clean and maintain restrooms and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash as needed Restock restroom and cleaning supplies Maintain clean and presentable entrances, hallways, and shared spaces Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning needs throughout the day Perform minor maintenance tasks , including changing light bulbs and clearing clogged toilets Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to management Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures Complete other general cleaning and facility-related duties as assigned Qualifications Previous cleaning, janitorial, or day porter experience preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent work schedule Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and remain active throughout the shift Friendly and professional attitude when interacting with seniors, staff, and visitors Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who understands that working in a senior center requires more than simply keeping the building clean.
