As a Porter at our community, your primary responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and uphold the aesthetic appeal of our property. Your main function will involve efficiently picking up trash and ensuring that all common areas are free of debris. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for our residents and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Trash Collection:

Regularly patrol the property to collect trash from areas such as parking lots, sidewalks, common areas, and amenity spaces. 2.

Sorting and Disposal:

Separate recyclable materials from general waste and dispose of them appropriately. 3.

Litter Management:

Proactively identify and remove any litter or debris to maintain a clean and attractive environment. 4.

Equipment Care:

Safely operate and maintain all tools and equipment used for trash collection, reporting any issues or repair needs to the maintenance team. 5.

Reporting:

Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues observed during trash collection rounds to the appropriate supervisor for timely resolution. 6.

Community Engagement:

Interact courteously with residents and guests, providing assistance when needed and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. 7.

Seasonal Responsibilities:

Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf blowing, snow removal, and other outdoor maintenance duties as required. 8.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of others while performing job duties. 9. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2. Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance roles preferred but not required. 3. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. 4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without direct supervision. 5. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and operate cleaning equipment. 6. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with residents and team members.
