Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Sanitation Worker on the Evening Shift, where your dedication to cleanliness and safety will keep our facility running smoothly and uphold the highest standards of sanitation. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment within food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that sanitation protocols are followed meticulously, supporting food safety and overall operational excellence. Duties Perform industrial cleaning tasks across production areas, warehouses, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents and tools Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and safety goggles Conduct sanitation of machinery, floors, walls, and work surfaces to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and food safety regulations Operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and custodial tools efficiently and safely Follow strict safety protocols during chemical handling and respiratory protection to prevent contamination or accidents Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and chemicals to ensure proper stock levels and compliance with safety standards Document sanitation activities accurately in logs or reports as required by quality assurance protocols Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or industrial sanitation within manufacturing or food processing environments Knowledge of chemical agent handling, chemical safety procedures, and proper use of PPE and respiratory protection gear Familiarity with GMP guidelines, food safety standards, and sanitation best practices in food production or warehouse settings Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during cleaning tasks Basic math skills for measuring chemicals or calculating cleaning solutions accurately Strong adherence to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed sanitation procedures consistently This position offers an energetic environment where your efforts directly contribute to product quality and safety.
