In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our church facilities and our Christian Nursery School, ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment for worship, pre-school education, community events, and outreach programs. Your efforts will help foster a sense of welcome and hospitality for all visitors, congregation members, staff, and volunteers.

Responsibilities Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide for general cleaning of the facilities. (A general duty roster will be provided and updated as needed based on the needs of the church and the nursery school.) Provide light, routine maintenance in consultation with the Property Committee. Set up the facilities for the various programs that occur for both the congregation and the community. Report issues with the facility, including repair work needed or safety concerns, to the head of the property committee so they may be addressed. Responsible for procuring supplies and materials necessary for the completion of the tasks of the position. Act as a liaison between the various individuals and groups that use the facilities and the congregation with regard to issues related to the physical plant of St. Matthew. Skills Experience in roles involving facility management including working with vendors and contractors. Good communication skills to interact with clergy, staff, volunteers, children and community members. Able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Pay:

$38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
