Life Insurance Job Description:

A Penn State Janitorial Custodian will be reasonable for the campus buildings by collecting waste, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, dusting and mopping floors, vacuuming rugs, washing glass and fixtures, polishing furniture, and securing facilities by locking doors and windows

Responsibilities:

Collect and remove trash from work areas, wash chalkboards, and clean or replace eraser's.

Dust, dust-mop, wet-mop, and scrub floors; spot clean, vacuum, and rotate rugs or runners; clean stairways.

Wash glass, mirrors, light fixtures, wainscoting, railings, and toilet fixtures; thoroughly clean restrooms and stock soap/paper dispensers.

Wash and polish furniture and brass fixtures; maintain cleaning tools and equipment in a clean, orderly state.

Turn off lights, close and lock windows, and secure doors when leaving an area.

Report facility or equipment damage and repair needs to a supervisor, group leader, or foreman.
