What you'll do Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to keep facilities immaculate. Conduct thorough floor care, including buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the workplace. Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any major repairs needed to ensure facility upkeep. Provide support in commercial cleaning projects as well as residential painting when necessary. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to enhance the overall experience for all users. Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards while performing custodial duties. Engage in porter responsibilities, ensuring that all areas are presentable and inviting. Basic qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong attention to detail. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment. Experience in facilities maintenance or related fields. Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
