18.50/hr Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Custodian is responsible for performing general cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the facility, including common areas, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and other workspaces. Responsibilities Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Dust surfaces, furniture, equipment, and fixtures. Clean and sanitize restrooms. Wipe down countertops, tables, doors, and other high-touch surfaces. Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces. Empty trash and recycling containers. Clean break rooms and kitchen areas, including microwaves, sinks, tables, and appliances. Operate cleaning equipment, including a Zamboni and other floor-cleaning machines as needed. Remove dust, dirt, debris, and other materials from facility areas. Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Perform other custodial and housekeeping duties as assigned. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred. Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining a clean environment in large facilities. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, pressure washers, and chemical dispensers. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling safety procedures and facilities maintenance.

Pay:
