We are seeking a Custodian who will perform custodial and maintenance duties on the Wingate residential property located in York, PA .

Position Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for keeping exteriors, common areas, vacant units, sidewalks and alleyways of property in a clean and safe condition and will assist in other types of basic maintenance, when necessary. Expected to perform all custodial and maintenance duties in a professional manner and on a timely basis.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Cleans all hallways, stairwells, common areas, model, vacant apartments, parking areas, sidewalks and alleyways, on-site management offices, mailbox areas, elevators and laundry rooms Maintains grounds (Lawn care, snow removal, litter clean-up) Assists with miscellaneous social program activities (e.g., set-up, pick-ups, clean-ups, etc.) Maintains appliances and plumbing Assists in inventory control of all janitorial equipment and supplies Assists with painting, as directed Replaces burnt-out bulbs Checks locks while working in specific areas Reports maintenance problem areas ASAP Additional tasks as assigned by

Requirements:

High school education or equivalent Full-time janitorial experience
