Job Description
Join the Facilities Services team at the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) and make a visible difference every day. This position provides custodial services that directly support student success, faculty work, and campus operations by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces across a diverse university environment. Work areas may include classrooms, labs, shops, offices, student spaces, and other campus facilities. Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate of Completion from technical school and a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An unrestricted Alaska driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving criteria is required.Preferred:
Custodial experience, or the aptitude to quickly learn to perform custodial tasks safety.Position Details:

Salary Information:
MSW 3 /Step 1 $20.25/hr. (See Article 9.2 in the L6070 Collective Bargaining Agreement, Wage Grade Schedule ). The University of Alaska (UA) reserves the right to require employees to work on-site at the UA facilities. Hybrid and remote work may be approved for employees based in Alaska at the University's discretion. - Each university within the University of Alaska system publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus.
