Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at CBS in the Great Lakes region. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing custodial operations and ensuring that facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Your leadership will be key in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate custodial teams across various sites throughout the USA. Manage scheduling, task assignments, absenteeism monitoring, and daily operations. Conduct regular site inspections and submit quality control reports to management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, cleaning standards, and company policies. Train and support new employees; mentor team members to improve performance. Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly. Handle administrative tasks including payroll, vacation requests, and employee records. Manage inventory by maintaining and ordering cleaning supplies and equipment. Oversee floor care procedures including striping and waxing. Support special projects and collaborate with management to improve service delivery. Occasionally perform cleaning duties when necessary (e.g., in emergencies or when a replacement is unavailable).
Job Qualifications and Conditions:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or management role. At least 2 years experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles, or in the commercial cleaning industry. Knowledge of janitorial equipment, techniques, chemicals, safety standards, and MSDS. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally. Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends when required. Must have a valid driver's license, a personal vehicle, and be willing to travel frequently. Must consent to a Criminal Background Check.
Job Skills Required:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Spanish. Comfortable with technology and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

40-45 hours per week.
Schedule:
Primarily Monday to Friday (daytime), with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
