A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Full Job Description Custodian, Part-Time, Barrington Public Library:

Three (3) hours Tuesday evenings with potential for more hours- may include evenings, Saturdays, and occasional mornings. Duties include cleaning Bathrooms and Floors, Vacuuming and Snow Removal. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
