This is a full-time field position serving customers throughout the Charleston Tri-County area, including Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Mount Pleasant and surrounding communities. No carpet-cleaning experience is required. Paid hands-on training is provided. You'll spend your day traveling to scheduled residential and commercial appointments, providing professional cleaning services and delivering a great customer experience. No cold calling and no door knocking—your appointments are scheduled for you. Compensation & Paid Training You'll begin with paid hands-on training for approximately 20 hours per week for up to four weeks at $13-$15 per hour , depending on qualifications. After successfully completing training and being approved to independently run a route, you'll transition to approximately 40 hours per week and 100% commission-based compensation . Most first-year technicians earn approximately $15-$22+ per hour , depending on completed jobs, productivity, services provided and the applicable compensation plan. Earnings are not capped. What You'll Do Travel to scheduled customer appointments in a company vehicle Clean carpets, upholstery, floors and other approved surfaces Operate and maintain professional cleaning equipment Explain services, expectations and results to customers Identify and recommend additional services when appropriate Manage your assigned route and stay on schedule Maintain clean, organized equipment and work areas Provide dependable, professional customer service Who We're Looking For This position may be a good match for someone who: Is dependable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work Enjoys working independently rather than sitting at a desk all day Is comfortable interacting with customers in their homes and businesses Takes pride in quality work and customer service Can manage a daily schedule and stay organized Is comfortable using a smartphone and basic technology Can learn and consistently follow established processes Communicates clearly in English, verbally and in writing Schedule Oxi Fresh Charleston operates primarily Monday through Saturday, generally between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Daily routes and hours vary based on customer appointments and business needs. Occasional evening or Sunday availability may be needed. Driving Requirements Because technicians drive company vehicles between customer appointments, candidates must: Have a valid driver's license Maintain an acceptable driving record Meet company automobile insurance eligibility requirements Be able to safely operate company vehicles and equipment Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on field position. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Frequently lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 55 pounds Occasionally lifting up to 70 pounds Lifting heavier items with assistance when needed Pushing, pulling, loading, unloading and maneuvering cleaning equipment Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching and reaching throughout the workday Navigating stairs, tight spaces and varying residential and commercial environments Working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions Background & Drug Screening Candidates must be able to successfully complete: A background check, consistent with applicable law and business necessity A pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana/THC What Happens After You Apply The initial application and screening process is managed by Purciarele Group on behalf of Oxi Fresh Charleston.
