A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

It's NOT clean until its COIT Clean!!! COIT is seeking a Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. While we prefer applicants with some commercial cleaning experience, we will provide training if you have a positive attitude and are willing to work hard. This position mainly involves physical tasks, but you must also issue receipts for completed work and provide customer service as necessary. In this role, you will inspect fabrics for signs of wear, perform deep cleaning services, and apply deodorizers. You will also be able to clean tile and grout, natural stone, draperies, and upholstery. Carpet Cleaning Technician Duties and Responsibilities Inspect carpet and upholstery for stains and other signs of wear Provide deep cleaning services Apply deodorizers Move or cover furniture as needed Assist with tile and grout cleaning Maintain a clean and safe work area Carpet Cleaning Technician Requirements and Qualifications A high school diploma or GED preferred (not required) Commercial carpet cleaning experience a plus A valid driver's license and reliable transportation Physical stamina Attention to detail
