Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain the cleanliness and safety of an industrial facility. Responsibilities General cleaning and disinfecting of offices, lobbies, and common areas including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and breakrooms. Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures. Conduct moderate lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, break areas, and high-touch surfaces regularly. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or safety hazards identified during cleaning rounds. Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others. Contribute to a positive customer service experience by being courteous and responsive to staff or visitor inquiries related to cleanliness or facility needs. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to custodial work. Familiarity with maintenance procedures for facilities upkeep is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning routines are completed efficiently.
