What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Hours:
Tuesday & Thursday evenings, after 5:30pm (flexible schedule)
Essential Functions:
  • Perform cleaning duties according to the assigned Scope of Work and supervisor direction.
  • Complete all tasks safely, efficiently, and to CleanSpace quality standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or issues promptly to your supervisor.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with clients, coworkers, and leadership.
  • Accurately record work hours using CleanSpace's designated software.
  • Maintain control of keys, fobs, and access codes; ensure facilities are properly secured.
  • Keep supply and equipment areas organized and stocked.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with your supervisor.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to walk up and down stairs and to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience with cleaning procedures preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to pass drug and background checks.
Pay:
$30.00 per day
