Job Description

Albany Farms operates a growing food manufacturing facility in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, producing high quality ramen noodles in a controlled production environment. Cleanliness and sanitation are not optional here, they are critical to food safety, product quality, and keeping our operation running. We are building a team of dependable individuals who take pride in doing the job right, even when no one is watching. Position Overview The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production areas, equipment, and facility spaces to meet strict food safety and regulatory standards. This role is essential to plant operations. When sanitation is done well, production runs smoothly. When it is not, everything stops. This is a hands on role in a fast paced manufacturing environment that requires attention to detail, consistency, and accountability. What You'll Do Clean and sanitize production lines, equipment, and all food contact surfaces Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning as required Use approved cleaning chemicals and sanitation tools safely and correctly Follow all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, SSOPs Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas Remove waste and debris from production areas following safety protocols Assist with moving equipment or materials during sanitation processes Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment immediately Follow all GMP, PPE, food safety, and plant safety requirements at all times Support production operations as needed, including basic line or packaging work Participate in required safety and food safety training Perform additional duties as needed to support plant operations
What We're Looking For Required:
Must be 18 years or older Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work a set schedule without frequent absences
Preferred:
Experience in sanitation, food production, or manufacturing Experience working with cleaning chemicals or industrial sanitation processes Mechanical aptitude or experience working around equipment Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move for 8 to 10 hours per shift Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motion Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Comfortable working in a warm, wet, or fast paced production environment Regular use of hands for cleaning, handling tools, and operating equipment
Schedule Training Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30
PM Regular Schedule After Training:
