Friday, September 11, 2026 JOB SUMMARY Facilities Management seeks an outward-focused team member with a heart for serving others. This position performs routine and detailed cleaning tasks, floor care, and minor building maintenance in municipal buildings. Public Safety Campus•Our $55 million state-of-the-art training hub includes an Administration Apparatus Bay Garage, an EVOC course/building, VR simulator (and) mat room, indoor/outdoor classrooms, indoor gun range, a fitness center, and tactical structures for police and fire rescue training and our Metro 911 Center. Nearby facilities with shared custodial services include the new Light, Power, & Traffic building and the Water Reclamation Plant.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from high school or GED certification and a minimum of one (1) years' experience in custodial work; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority. Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences including the public. Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customers. Ideal candidate will have a passion to serve First Responders and be able to successfully complete a thorough background screening. CJIS training must be completed upon hire. Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and overtime as required. Possession of a valid driver's license prior to hire is required.
