Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and industrial settings, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Report any issues or repairs needed to management promptly. Skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Experience in floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Familiarity with custodial practices in both residential and commercial settings. Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and management. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
