Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to company standards and safety guidelines Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools efficiently and safely Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed Maintain floors through proper cleaning techniques like sweeping, mopping, polishing, and floor care treatments Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as trash removal, outdoor surface cleaning, and debris clearance Use cleaning detergents safely while adhering to proper manual handling procedures to prevent injury Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including inventory checks of cleaning supplies and equipment Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures Knowledge of commercial cleaning expertise Skilled in using various cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as carpets, floors, windows, and countertops Ability to implement proper sanitation practices in accordance with health standards Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout your shift Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work activities Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members Experience in floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning Ability to follow detailed instructions for cleaning protocols while maintaining a high level of quality Join us as a General Cleaner where your dedication transforms spaces into pristine environments!
