Staff Full Time Job Description The Custodian shall perform all cleaning duties required to maintain clean and orderly facilities, promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large; promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students; participate on university committees; perform cleaning duties around assigned buildings which include areas such as classrooms, corridors, foyers, restrooms, dining hall, offices, lounges, conference rooms, restrooms, daycare, library, etc.; sweep, vacuum, clean and mop floors, assist with snow removal; complete required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; and •perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications ability to perform manual work to include bending, climbing, lifting and pulling; ability to exert 10 to 15 pounds frequently and greater than 15 pounds on an infrequent basis; and •valid drivers license. Preferred Qualifications Flexibility, self-motivated, good communication skills, must maintain absolute confidentiality and privacy of information, ability to work as part of a team, knowledge of Knoxville area, and availability to work evening shift.
