Job Description

Cleaning Technician - Part‑Time (Mon/Wed/Fri)
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM (2 hours per shift) We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, follows established cleaning standards, and contributes to a professional atmosphere. Must be able to operate an Auto Scrubber. As a Cleaning Technician, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks that directly support the comfort and safety of clients, staff, and visitors. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help ensure every space is inviting and well‑maintained. Responsibilities Sweep, mop, and buff floors to restore shine and cleanliness Operate an Auto Scrubber and other floor‑care equipment Perform carpet cleaning using proper tools and techniques Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards Handle waste disposal, recycling, and safe chemical usage Use specialized floor‑care tools for buffing and surface maintenance Follow all safety protocols to ensure a hazard‑free environment Report maintenance issues, equipment concerns, or supply needs promptly Qualifications Experience in custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning roles Knowledge of floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and sanitation practices Understanding of environmental services standards and chemical safety Ability to operate floor buffers, carpet extractors, vacuums, and related equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards Effective time‑management skills to complete tasks within scheduled shifts Prior commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
