Your attention to detail and proactive approach to maintenance activities will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and a well-maintained workplace for our staff. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities to uphold the store's appearance and hygiene standards. Sweep, mop, and run floor scrubber regularly to keep a clean and safe surface for both customers and associates. Empty trash receptacles and replace garbage bags to maintain a tidy environment. Clean and disinfect restrooms and breakrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with essential supplies. Wipe down surfaces such as counters, display shelves, and fixtures to maintain a polished and organized presentation. Conduct basic repairs and maintenance activities such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, and repairing damaged fixtures. Monitor and report any safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor. Assist in store activities such as unloading trucks, stocking, or zoning merchandise when time allows. Preserve an uncluttered exterior by managing parking lot cleanliness and trash removal. Operate a floor scrubber proficiently. Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments and responsibilities. Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Supervisory Responsibilities None Qualifications Essential Qualities for Success At least 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. Meticulous attention to detail and strong math skills for accurate cash handling. Demonstrated ability to thoroughly review and analyze information, identifying errors or inconsistencies to maintain high levels of accuracy. Excellent communication skills to implement policies and procedures, direct staff, and provide customer service. Flexibility with hours:
