Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums. Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a healthy environment. Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain sanitation standards. Support facilities maintenance by inspecting and reporting any issues related to cleanliness or equipment malfunction. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Background in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be considered an asset.
