Job Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Evening Janitorial / Cleaning Staff to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at our preschool facility. Schedule:

6:00 PM - 10:00 PM 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) Approximately 25 hours per week Duties Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely while disinfecting surfaces to ensure sanitation standards are met Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial equipment to maintain pristine flooring conditions Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture or cleaning supplies Follow safety protocols meticulously to prevent accidents or chemical mishandling during cleaning procedures Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials as needed Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or educational settings preferred Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation procedures, and industrial cleaning methods Experience handling chemical agents safely according to safety protocol guidelines Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or residential painting is a plus Ability to operate cleaning equipment like floor buffers and industrial vacuums efficiently Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, chemical handling, and equipment use Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary Join us in creating a clean, safe environment where young learners can flourish!
