Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dealership Porter to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our vehicles and dealership facilities, ensuring an outstanding experience for every customer. Your efforts will help uphold our reputation for quality and professionalism while supporting the smooth operation of our dealership. Duties Safely operate standard passenger cars and light vehicles to move them within the dealership grounds. Perform exterior vehicle washing, including hand washing and using automated car wash systems, to ensure vehicles look their best. Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore vehicle finishes and enhance appearance. Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to meet high cleanliness standards. Use proper cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies to maintain dealership floors, customer areas, and service bays in pristine condition. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle movement or facility maintenance while following safe work practices. Support auto detailing operations by applying polishing, buffing, and cleaning techniques that meet professional standards. Qualifications Experience operating standard passenger cars and manual transmissions is preferred. Knowledge of safe work practices, including proper use of cleaning equipment and automotive buffers. Prior experience in auto detailing, vehicle paint correction, or car wash services is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle movement or facility upkeep. Strong customer service skills with a focus on vehicle presentation and dealership cleanliness. Familiarity with auto detailing facilities or custodial environments is a plus. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
