Lead Facility Custodian / Trailer Detailer National Trailer Source - Decatur, TX Full-Time | $16.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience National Trailer Source is looking for a dependable, hands-on Lead Facility Custodian / Trailer Detailer to help keep our Decatur dealership clean, organized, and looking its best. This is a working lead position. You'll work alongside another team member and help coordinate daily responsibilities to ensure trailer detailing and facility cleaning needs are covered and completed to standard. The focus of this role is the cleanliness and upkeep of our dealership , including offices, restrooms, common areas, and customer-facing spaces. This position will also help clean and stage trailers in preparation for our Make Ready team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices what needs to be done, and doesn't need to be told every step of the way. What You'll Do Facility Cleaning & Upkeep Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the dealership Clean offices, showroom areas, restrooms, break areas, and other common spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash Clean windows, doors, counters, fixtures, and other surfaces Restock restroom and cleaning supplies Help maintain clean and presentable exterior/customer-facing areas Identify and communicate facility maintenance or supply needs Trailer Cleaning & Staging Clean and prepare trailers for the Make Ready process Sweep and clean trailer floors, compartments, windows, and interior surfaces Clean exterior areas as needed Remove dirt, dust, debris, stickers, and other materials Stage trailers for the next step in the Make Ready process Take interior pictures for the Marketing Team Identify and communicate visible trailer damage or concerns Lead Responsibilities Help organize and divide daily responsibilities between yourself and the other team member Coordinate cleaning and trailer priorities based on business needs Make sure assigned work is completed thoroughly and on time Help train and provide day-to-day direction to other team members in the area Maintain cleaning supplies and communicate when additional supplies are needed Serve as the primary point of contact for the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of the facility Communicate concerns, priorities, or additional needs to management Lead by example and maintain a high standard for quality, productivity, and safety What We're Looking For Dependable with a strong work ethic Strong attention to detail Able to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative Comfortable providing day-to-day direction while also working alongside another employee Able to organize and prioritize work without constant supervision Good communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year Able to perform physical work throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and climbing in and out of trailers Willing to follow established safety procedures Previous custodial, janitorial, commercial cleaning, detailing, facility maintenance, or similar experience preferred Previous lead experience is a plus but not required About National Trailer Source After more than 20 years as competitors, NRS Trailers and P&P Trailer Sales merged to form National Trailer Source, the premier horse and livestock trailer dealership chain in the United States.
