Responsibilities Perform residential and commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with health and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while maintaining their proper functioning through manual handling and routine maintenance. Clean floors thoroughly using floor care techniques suitable for various surfaces, including carpet cleaning and outdoor work when necessary. Assist with housekeeper management tasks like scheduling or coordinating cleaning activities based on client needs. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or residential cleaning roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and dusting techniques enhances effectiveness in this role. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during flexible scheduling shifts. Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning projects or yard maintenance. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teamwork within a housekeeping environment.
