Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Cleaner to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of our facilities during overnight hours. This role is vital in maintaining a pristine environment that promotes health, safety, and a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. As a Night Cleaner, you will work independently to perform thorough cleaning routines, handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely, and uphold high standards of sanitation across all areas of the premises. Your proactive approach will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our facilities during off-hours. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting all designated areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and polishing machines to maintain floor care standards. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and maintaining accurate records of usage. Conduct heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment to support maintenance activities. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly throughout the shift. Assist with minor custodial repairs or facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency. Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations while adhering to safety protocol guidelines. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Experience handling chemical agents safely in accordance with chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness. Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during the shift. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently during night hours without supervision. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence and facilities maintenance practices is preferred. Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
