Overview Join our dynamic team as a Night Janitor Lead and take charge of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during overnight hours. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee custodial operations, supervise cleaning staff, and ensure all sanitation and safety standards are met with precision. Your proactive approach will help uphold the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities, contributing to a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team while ensuring our premises remain spotless and compliant with industry regulations. Duties Supervise and coordinate nightly cleaning crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure efficient operations Lead industrial and commercial cleaning efforts, including sanitation, floor care, trash removal, and detailed custodial tasks Enforce safety regulations during cleaning procedures, promoting a safe work environment for all team members Manage cleaning & sanitation protocols to uphold health standards in all areas of the facility Oversee laundry and housekeeping activities as needed, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies Provide managerial communication to relay expectations, give feedback, and motivate staff for continuous improvement Skills Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or commercial janitorial services with a strong understanding of sanitation practices Demonstrated staff supervision and team management skills with prior supervising experience in a fast-paced environment Excellent leadership abilities combined with effective managerial communication to guide teams confidently Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning operations and facility maintenance Skilled in managing cleaning & sanitation processes, including equipment operation and supply management Exceptional customer service mindset to address staff needs and support facility stakeholders Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as laundry, housekeeping management, and general custodial duties efficiently This role is ideal for motivated leaders passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness while fostering a positive team environment. Pay:
$15.50 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Application Question(s): Shift Monday to Friday 10 pm to 2 am Shift Saturday and Sunday 10 pm to 2 am
