An apartment porter keeps an apartment community clean, safe, and welcoming by maintaining the grounds, common areas, and preparing vacant units

Responsibilities:

Keep property clean and free of debris and trash

Pick up trash from around buildings and parking areas and common spaces

Clean breezeways, stairwells and other shared areas

Maintain the dumpster and trash areas

Assist the maintenance team with light task

Report maintenance safety concerns to management

Keep the community neat and welcoming.

Working hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00

PM Skills:

Prior experience in porter, janitorial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, maintenance or apartment property operations

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Ability to pay attention to cleanliness and property appearance

Dependable and punctual and able to work independently

Ability to use basic cleaning equipment, hand tools and property maintenance equipment

Be available to work weekends, holidays and respond to property needs when required
