Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Professional to join our team for church maintenance on Monday and Friday mornings. This role is vital in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming environment of our facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality custodial services, maintaining a pristine space that reflects our company values. If you enjoy working independently and take initiative in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, this opportunity is perfect for you! also with our company there is room for more opportunities Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all church areas, including sanctuaries, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols for storage, usage, and disposal to ensure a hazard-free environment Use floor buffers and other floor care tools to maintain clean, polished surfaces and ensure safety for all visitors and staff Conduct routine sanitation procedures to uphold health standards, including disinfecting high-touch surfaces and restrooms Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, including proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or institutional settings such as churches or community centers Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and chemical sprayers Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards required for public spaces Experience with facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices throughout the shift Strong attention to detail with a commitment to creating a clean and welcoming environment Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting positively with staff and visitors when needed Join us in creating a safe, spotless space where community members can gather comfortably!
