A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
The part time Custodian will is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to cleaning and the up keeping of the South Plains Community building(s) and will be responsible for providing custodial services. This involves daily schedule routines and other occasional duties as assigned, daily office and building cleaning and potentially minor maintenance repairs. Custodian duties will include cleaning bathrooms, floors, keep grounds clean and safe. be able to lift heavy furniture up to 50 lbs with assistance. Pick up donations for the Hockley County Food box, and attend food drives and other functions as needed. Must possess and maintain valid Texas driver's license.
