Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our dedicated cleaning team. Responsibilities Operate professional cleaning equipment such as carpet extractors, floor buffers, waxers, and scrubbers to achieve optimal cleanliness. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, following all safety protocols. Perform carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing tasks to restore surfaces to their best condition. Conduct heavy lifting of cleaning supplies, equipment, and furniture as needed during various cleaning projects. Maintain a high standard of janitorial and custodial services by ensuring floors are spotless, polished, and well-maintained. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and efficiently during service visits. Follow environmental services guidelines by using eco-friendly products and practices whenever possible to promote sustainability. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including buffing, waxing, and floor refinishing is highly desirable. Familiarity with handling cleaning chemicals safely and knowledge of environmental safety standards is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged physical activity. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards client interactions.
