Independent Contractor Cleaner We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Independent Contractor Cleaners to provide high-quality cleaning services for residential, short-term rental, and commercial properties. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with a flexible, assignment-based structure. Contractors may choose whether to accept or decline individual cleaning opportunities based on their availability. Hours and assignments are not guaranteed. Compensation Compensation is provided as a predetermined flat rate for each accepted cleaning assignment , rather than an hourly wage. The advertised $20-$30 per hour range represents estimated equivalent earnings based on typical job payouts and completion times. The specific flat-rate payment will be communicated before an assignment is accepted . Payment is issued after satisfactory completion of the accepted assignment. Responsibilities Perform residential, short-term rental, and commercial cleaning services. Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, common areas, bedrooms, offices, and other assigned spaces. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, wipe surfaces, and complete other general cleaning duties. Complete property-specific cleaning requirements provided with each assignment. Handle laundry or linen-related tasks when included in an assignment. Properly use cleaning products and equipment. Inspect completed work for quality and completeness. Treat client homes, businesses, property, and belongings with care. Communicate promptly regarding access issues, damages, unusual property conditions, or other concerns. Contractor Requirements Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented. Must have reliable transportation to and from accepted assignments. Must have a reliable method of communication. Must successfully complete a background check. Prior residential, commercial, janitorial, housekeeping, or short-term rental cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to perform the physical duties normally associated with professional cleaning. Contractors are responsible for their own transportation and related expenses. Supplies & Equipment Contractors may use their own appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Cleaning supplies and/or equipment may also be made available through the company under separate agreed-upon terms. Contractors are expected to maintain professional conduct and protect confidential client and company information.
