Duties Perform comprehensive residential cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure homes are spotless and hygienic. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across various surfaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as required by clients. Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and efficiently to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Manage floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to keep all flooring pristine. Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as patio or porch cleaning and debris removal. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service. Practice manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining efficiency. Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is properly maintained for optimal performance. Follow all safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work to promote a safe working environment. Experience Candidates should possess prior experience in residential housekeeping or custodial roles, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment operation. Experience in hotel or commercial cleaning environments is advantageous. Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and outdoor maintenance tasks will be considered a plus. Strong time management skills are essential to complete assignments efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Previous experience with cleaning detergents, floor care products, and sanitation standards will support success in this role.
