Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination. Conduct routine janitorial duties including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large cleaning supplies while adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of industrial or commercial spaces by performing specialized cleaning tasks like carpet extraction or floor buffing. Operate various cleaning equipment efficiently and safely, ensuring proper maintenance and storage after use. Support facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Qualifications Proven custodial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and procedures. Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and chemical dispensing systems. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following established safety protocols and handling safety procedures. Experience with janitorial tasks including sanitation, heavy lifting, manual handling, and industrial cleaning techniques. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for manual labor tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Customer service mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in maintaining facility appearance and safety standards.
