Job Summary:

Join our dynamic farm team on our cleaning crew open in our as a Kennel Technician/ detail cleaner who will be a vital part of our kennel operations! This energetic role offers the opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of small animals, and develop hands-on skills in animal care, kennel management, and kennel laundry. Must be able to report to work by 8 a.m., work a 5-day work week with 2 days off in a row, some holidays and weekends required. This position is 50 /50 indoors / outdoors . Agricultural or professional cleaning experience preferred, attention to detail a must. You will be working with small animals and performing various deep cleaning duties, where the day-to-day tasks will vary but the core responsibilities will stay the same. Must be a hard worker, not afraid to get dirty as we work hard, you must be reliable and a team player with a positive attitude. Please note this is NOT a rescue and includes a boarding & training facility as well as raising small animals. Must have reliable transportation and childcare. $15 per hour with paid training and a review after 90 days with no call-outs. This is a 1099 position. Cleaning experience is required. Responsibilities Perform daily animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health and well-being of small animals. Clean and sanitize kennels, crates and common areas to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for our animals. Monitor canines for any signs of illness or distress

Skills:

• Experience in dog handling and animal care preferred but not required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
• Strong work ethic and ability to be a team player
• Ability to work independently
• Previous experience in professional cleaning or agricultural setting is preferred.
