Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment. Handle various chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures. Conduct manual handling tasks to move supplies, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of floors through techniques to ensure a pristine appearance. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning materials while monitoring inventory levels. Follow safety protocols consistently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation. Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards. Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
